The Kitchen is FINISHED!!!!

i finished the kitchen on Sunday.... yay!!!!!!!

we even put in a new ceiling fan and light fixtures.

it looks sooooo much better.

it turned out even better than i thought.

our Christmas trees made it to the shed

and i picked up Ashley & Dustin's and took it to storage.

now i just have to run the BIG wreath to storage and

the Christmas decorations will all be put away.

Larry & i, Nicki & Miss Aliyah, & Ashley, Dustin, & Miss Kaylee

went to Hinode for dinner last night for Nicki's birthday.

i can't believe my baby is 25.

she has grow into a wonderful young lady

and an excellent mother.

Ash will be coming back to work next Monday.

please say a prayer for her as it is so hard to

leave those little ones for the 1st time.

i thank God every day for the wonderful blessings in my life.

Already falling behind.......

so........ i have already fallen behind on my blogging for the New Year! maybe i should set my goal to do this like twice a week instead of every day!

what is going on in our life, you ask......

well here goes.... my 1st project of the New Year was to get all my Christmas stuff taken down and stored... that is done... except the huge wreath still hanging in the living room... and the 2 Christmas trees on the back porch... thank goodness for the privacy fence.... my 2nd project was, or still is, to paint my kitchen...

it is a work in progress (hopefully to be finished this weekend)

Larry has NEVER painted and is no help at all....

i am thinking about 2 more days of painting and it should be finished...

at least i hope so

then on to my next project which has yet to be determined!

i think i will make a list of my household goals and see how fast i can complete them.....

without tooooooo much procrastination.

now on to the important things in my life.....

Miss Aliyah continues to amaze me every day. she is so smart.

i think she must get that from her Nana. LOL

actually she is so smart because her mom works with her all the time.

sometimes it is hard to remember that she just turned 3.

she has known her abc's and been able to count FOREVER

but she came over the other night and brought her Nintendo DS

i got her for Christmas and i was amazed that she could actually

recognize her numbers in order...

i'm not sure my girls could do this by the time they started school.

sorry girls!

and Miss Kaylee.....

i can't believe that she is 8 weeks old today.

she is growing up way too quick.

Ashley will be coming back to work in about 1 1/2 weeks

and I know she is dreading it.

she is struggling daily with getting Kaylee to take a bottle...

she prefers her milk straight from the source.

Nicki will be babysitting Kaylee so that Ashley doesn't have to put her in daycare.

that is such a blessing.

pray that Nicki can survive the daily life of a

3 year old and a 2 month old!

my girls are such wonderful mommy's!

my main goal for the New Year is to take time EVERY DAY

to realize how blessed i am

no matter how bad things may seem.
